Existential Crisis #5006
Today, Inspired by a fantastic post by Kelcey Ervick about making single-panel comics, in which she sent readers to a post about making four-panel diary comics by K. Woodman-Maynard…I figured even though I have super messy handwriting and I don’t really know how to draw, I’d have some fun with my neuroses. Well, readers, drawing comics is hard! But worth trying. Plus, she reminded me of how much I love Lynda Barry’s book, Making Comics.
So I decided—in the interest of posting more while I’m in the white-hot middle of writing an adult—yes, adult—novel, I will try this new form. I get very hyper-focused when I’m writing, and don’t have tons of energy for longer pieces of writing.

I love this story. Very Leah-esque. It just heads off in all kinds of directions and exits the stage leaving you wanting more
Thanks for sharing this, Kelcey! Leah, you did your neuroses proud in 4 panels!
